The five performers in FEEN // FAIRIES follow the traces of their own mechanisms for dealing with discrimination in their everyday lives. Two soft floor mats accompany the game with the audience, in which the performers dodge, evade, duck their bodies away, walk backwards. The powerlessness of being thrown backwards, the feeling of the queer-feminist backlash of our current times sometimes makes them stumble, sometimes stumble, but always walk vigilantly forwards and backwards. For the performance on January 13, 2024, we offer a physical introduction at 7 pm: In "backwards" we move backwards and experience completely new perspectives during this walk backwards together.
