Concert+Interaction is a new format of the SAAL FREI platform for interdisciplinary real-time composition. The first part of the evening is a purely musical improvisation by the Stuttgart band ARNO. The second part is a multifaceted dialog between music, dance and performance with performers from the ensemble Instant PIG // Stuttgart.

The band ARNO was founded in 2004 by Mark Lorenz Kysela, Anja Füsti and Oliver Prechtl at a concert of the neumond series in the Tearoom Stuttgart. The band's first gigs in 2005 included the 50-hour online performance Freepunkjazzelectrominifolk. In addition to their concert activities in southern Germany, the formation has appeared in dance performance productions such as 2007 Der neue wilde Westen at Kunstpark Ost Munich or 2018 Thank you for playing my piece! at the Projektraum der Freien Tanz- und Theaterszene Stuttgart. Collaboration in the field of dance performance is one of the band members' main interdisciplinary projects, for example in productions with choreographers Claudia Senoner and Fabian Chyle. The trio performs in concert within the framework of musical improvisation, but also interprets notated music and creates projects together with artists from other artistic fields.
