Laura Sommerfeld
Management

Laura Sommerfeld previously worked as a cultural manager at the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg, where she realised numerous projects in the fields of fine art, music, performance and literature. She studied business administration, English and cultural management in Essen and Munich. Laura Sommerfeld gained further professional experience through her work for Rat&tat Kulturbüro in the independent performing arts scene in Munich. As part of this work, she supervised projects from the dance and theatre sector, including productions for the DANCE Festival Munich and the Impulse Theatre Festival Düsseldorf. Since February 2022 she has been the managing director of the Produktionszentrum Tanz + und Performance Stuttgart.

Since April 2024, she has been vice chairwoman of the board of IG TanzSzene BW.

Laura Sommerfeld is a member of the advisory board of the FITZ Theatre for Animated Forms and associate of the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg as well as shareholder representative at the Freie Tanz- und Theaterszene Stuttgart (FTTS) by virtue of her position. Since autumn 2024, she has been an advisory member of the Committee for Culture and Media (AKM) of the Stuttgart City Council.

Michelle Uzoh
Public Relations / Communications

Michelle Uzoh joined the office of the Production Centre for Dance + Performance in March 2026, where she is primarily responsible for communications. With a background in social and cultural anthropology, she gained her first experience in public relations at VBRG e.V. in Berlin while completing her master's degree in media studies at the University of Tübingen. She also worked in marketing at Gentner Verlag.

In addition to her work in communications, she is also active as a DJ and music curator in Stuttgart. This combination of communications work and her own creative practice shapes her commitment to networking and visibility.

Praktika

The Produktionszentrum regularly offers internships in the areas of cultural management, press and public relations, association administration, event support and preparation.
