“Anarchive of Encounters” is a performative project that seeks to embody archival materials within an institutional context. By using the act of coming together as a living medium through which to engage with the exhibited archive, the project explores our own perspectives on an institutional archive and tests different layers of relationality: between the bodies themselves, in relation to the historical documents, and in relation to the event experienced collectively.

Emilia Dorr (1992) is an Argentinian performance artist and producer whose interdisciplinary practice brings together choreography, theatre, and site-specific art. Her artistic research explores the body, movement, and the spoken word in relation to the dynamics of living together, institutional boundaries, and personal and collective agency within specific contexts.
