The programme is aimed at professional dance artists. Artists from related fields are also very welcome.

Participation in the workshops is free of charge. Binding registration at info@produktionszentrum.de stating whether you wish to take part in the theory and/or practice unit. The units can be attended independently of each other.
The number of places is limited.

The workshops will be held in German. Questions can also be asked in English

1 - 3 pm: Theory

The first part of the seminar consists of a theoretical introduction to dance medicine and its many areas of application. We will also discuss stumbling blocks in the implementation of dance medicine knowledge, with a particular focus on prevention.

We want to make the seminar interactive, so we will collect your questions on dance medicine topics in advance.

How can I organize my dance classes so that injuries do not occur? How can we integrate prevention into the everyday life of freelance artists?

Do you have other dance medicine questions that you've always wanted to ask?

Registered participants have the opportunity to contact the PZ office with their individual questions by email by 21.02.2025.

15.30 - 17.30 pm: Practice

In the second part of the seminar we will get into the practice of dance medicine and, after a brief theoretical introduction to the structure and function of fascia, we will look at preventative exercises for loosening and regenerating fascia.

The seminar does not require any previous knowledge of dance medicine or anatomy. It serves to impart knowledge and exchange experiences and can in no way replace an examination by a doctor in the event of health problems. No liability is assumed.
