The artist duo from Stuttgart have created an evocative audio walk in which they explore the tension between disappearance and remembrance, between presence and absence, between fiction and non-fiction. Together with their audience, they walk through the Weil der Stadt in the here and now, repeatedly touching on the past - guided and accompanied by a photo album.
Dorr and Cunningham use the walls of Weil der Stadt as a starting point to explore how walls have historically and continue to shape our understanding of power, perspective and the nature of a city. The walk uses audio and a photo album to guide the route and questions the space between documentation and speculative stories: What is hidden behind the walls of our city? What spaces are hidden between the present and the past? Where are they leading us now?
