PUTA is a multimedia dance theatre piece by an intergenerational and international team of women. PUTA deals with the construct of ‘female’ insults and provides impulses for reflection and discussion about the female body in public space. Based on the idea of being seen and judged and being confronted with the public gaze, the performers seek different ways of appropriating space. PUTA premiered in September 2023 and is now bringing a huge load of ‘women power’ back to Stuttgart's Marienplatz in June 2024 - in the middle of the European Football Championship.
