KOMOCO is an Italian based Dance Company funded by Sofia Nappi, artistic director and choreographer, together with her closest collaborators & associates Paolo Piancastelli and Adriano Popolo Rubbio. Currently KOMOCO has quickly grown into playing a relevant role in the international contemporary dance scene.The name KOMOCO is a combination of the Japanese word "Komorebi", which refers to the rays of the sun that filter through the leaves of the trees creating a dance of light, and “Collab”, as the Company strongly believes in co-creation within the different art forms and the artists.

KC workshop is open to professional dancers and movers from different backgrounds. KC Workshop aims to offer a sense of totality in a physical and sensorial way through the exploration and therefore the discovery of new possibilities with our bodies. In KOMOCO research, this practice takes the name of Kreaturistic Character (KC) as we connect to the creature that we are - that we just forgot about - which consequently brings more awareness to our unique artistic individuality to be expressed in endless ways, from the
highest volume of form to the most delicate, through a series of games and guided improvisational tasks.
In occasion of workshops open exclusively to professional dancers, the laboratory ends with the sharing and learning of sections from KC choreographic repertoire. KOMOCO artists taught professional workshops in Germany, USA, Italy, Holland, Israel, France, Albania, Spain, Canary Islands, Kosovo, Belgium, France, Hungary, Mexico, Serbia, Canada to name some.

The intensive training will be taught by a different member of KOMOCO every day. Further information on the instructors will follow shortly.

The Training will take place from Monday, 07/07 to Friday, 11/07 2025, each day from 10:00 to 11:30 am. Participation is available on a drop-in basis, similar to regular professional training (10 € or reduced fee of 5 €).
