Programme

DANCE

»DERMA« // Alessandro Giaquinto

Caught between past and future, a lonely figure sets out to gather what remains. Left overs of lives in transformation, of people who ceased to exist, and unrecognisable versions of the self. DERMA examines identity and memory through the banal pretext of moving houses. “A rite of passage and metamorphosis” (E. Coccia).

DERMA connects dance with text – quotes from Emanuele Coccia,
Ocean Vuong and others will appear – and with visual element, finding itself in
the silver lining between performance art, contemporary dance and dancetheater.

Choreography & performance: Alessandro Giaquinto

THEATER

»WAID - wipfelpirschen« // Camilla Krause

Romantic, dreamy Schubert songs and the cruel hunt. Birds of prey, songbirds, fattened birds, eggs, and humans find themselves in a shared collection, mercilessly exposed to one another—some of them already dead. They vie for attention, sneak around, are hunted, threatened, rescued. Is there any prey that can satisfy our longings?

In this 15-minute short format, Camilla Krause takes a close look at the recurring urge to prey and critically reflects on German romantic aesthetics. She also questions consumer capitalism, which is constantly searching for new, desirable goods and in doing so commodifies both nature and human emotions.

Concept, construction, performance: Camilla Krause
Supervision: Florian Feisel
Outside perspective: Ariel Doron
