»Litti« // Shaked Heller

"I’ve created a name for a dreamlike and unattainable valley. We’ve all seen it before, and most of us spent nine months developing there. We’ve forgotten what it was like there—its warmth and sense of security.

Through this piece, I am trying to find a way there. I am thinking of a piece that begins with a body connected to a machine that looks like a part of the body itself. Being connected to this machine will represent the arduous journey outward and perhaps redefine my birth.” (Shaked Heller)

»Deconstructing IKEA« // Tom Goemare

“Deconstructing IKEA” is an exploration of the richness of sounds in an ordinary consumer object—the IKEA plate—or, more precisely, of the hidden richness within an ordinary object. The more the object—the plate—is destroyed, the richer the sound material becomes. The destruction of the physical object is the construction of the sound object.
