Every two months on a Tuesday evening, short contributions by artists from Stuttgart and Baden-Württemberg from the fields of theatre, dance and film combine to create a special cultural experience.

The Doorkeeper moves light, space and time. Who meets him? Who crosses the threshold and what is being guarded? What if man lies in his own hands? A symbiosis ends the encounter between the doorkeeper and his visitor. Or is it the beginning, before time fades away and everything fades into infinite space? Light, object, body, costume and sound constantly create new picturesque spaces and figures. The player confronts his own guardian. A heartfelt invitation to step in front of your own.

Remanenz// Selina Koch, Mira Rosa Plikat

‘Remanence’ investigates symbiotic processes and their dissolution. In physics, remanence refers to the magnetisation of a body that persists after the removal of the magnetic field or the opposite pole. Even after a magnetic connection between two bodies has dissolved, a partial tension remains in the bodies that tells of past and future longings. The first version of the choreography as a duo was honoured with two prizes at the SoloDuo Festival in Cologne and as best choreography at the SzólóDuó International Dance Festival in Budapest.
