Dancers from the independent scene and Produktionszentrum Tanz + Performance have developed performances specifically for the KKT’s spaces, in which they use movement to re-explore the concept of space and convey new emotions, themes, and impressions.

Since the “Tanz durchs Haus” event—originally planned for late 2020 in collaboration with the Kulturkabinett Stuttgart—had to be postponed due to the pandemic and the audience could not attend in person, the event took place in a hybrid format. On February 27, 2021, around 100 viewers watched impressive recordings of the performances from home, while the artists were available to interact with them live. Registered viewers were sent a small package in advance containing a cocktail recipe and cocktail umbrellas, a card, and confetti for a collective, digital toast. It was a unique digital evening featuring dance, performance, and music.

The project is a collaboration between Kulturkabinett e.V. and Produktionszentrum Tanz + Performance e.V. and is funded by the “Kunst trotz Abstand” initiative of the Ministry of Science, Research, and the Arts.
