Fragments // Dance performance by FrenÁk Company

Liszt-Institut Stuttgart (Christophstraße 7, 70178 Stuttgart)
Tue, 24.06.2025, 7 pm

The FrenÁk Company's latest production presents a dynamic, young ensemble that sets new creative impulses with its diverse cultural backgrounds. The interdisciplinary, multimedia performance reflects the contradictions of our time in two contrasting yet complementary parts.

The award-winning Hungarian choreographer Pál Frenák has been a formative figure on the Paris and Budapest cultural scene since the 1980s. His company, originally founded in France, has been based in Hungary since 2000 and has already brought Hungarian contemporary dance to the stage in over 30 countries. FrenÁk has trained generations of dancers and continues to support them today with a dedicated mentoring program, and the company's work is unique in its combination of mime, sign language and body movement, as well as its inclusion of other genres such as contemporary circus, theater, fashion, design, architecture and music.

Admission is free of charge. Registration here or via uki-s@uki-s.de

The workshop is part of a cooperation between the Produktionszentrum Tanz + Performance and the Liszt-Institute - Hungarian Cultural Center Stuttgart.
