The focus of the dancer and dance teacher Angélica Topfstedt is on traditional Brazilian dances, modern and contemporary techniques and contact improvisation. In 2009 she began her dance education at the Technical School of Arts in São Paulo, continuing it at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2011, where she deepened her practical and theoretical studies in dance and gender, dance education, movement improvisation and traditional Brazilian dances. She toured with five dancers for three years with her final project, "What prevents you from having lightness in your soul?" developed in 2014. She then returned to the Technical School of Arts - now teaching Urban Dances and Contemporary Dance. Since 2017, Angélica has been living in Stuttgart to expand her body techniques and learn about new cultures.
