Brooke De Soto

Brooke de Soto is a dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher from Southern California. During her academic years, she trained with Inland Pacific Ballet Academy, Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy, and the Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre. She was awarded First Gold Medal at California Dance Classics in the Senior Women’s Classical Division in 2016 and has attended international workshops including the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Kirov Academy of Dance, Ballet West Academy, Art of Summer Program Madrid and Zurich, the Estonian National Ballet, and the Prague International Summer Ballet Workshop.

Upon graduating high school, Brooke joined State Street Ballet as a trainee while beginning her collegiate studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. There, she performed in numerous student and faculty works in classical ballet, contemporary, and modern dance, and premiered her first choreographic works. She was selected to represent UNLV in a cultural exchange with Korea National Sport University and was awarded “Most Outstanding Performer” of her graduating class. Brooke earned a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a BA in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience.

Following graduation, Brooke performed as a contracted dancer and guest artist with companies and festivals in the U.S. and Europe, including Ballet de Barcelona and Opera i Filharmonia Białystok. She is also signed with Ment Management of Las Vegas. Now relocating to Stuttgart, Brooke looks forward to continuing her freelance and teaching career.
