Oliver Prechtl studied piano and electronic music in Nuremberg and Stuttgart. His concert activities have taken him with various formations to concert, theatre and club venues throughout Europe. He has been involved in recording productions for the Trikont label and the Literaturhaus Stuttgart. Recordings of his work as an instrumentalist and composer are documented on the record ‘Ritornell’, self-published in 2015. In his piano programme ‘Wolken Zimmer Klavier’ he presents improvisations, arrangements and original compositions. He is a member of the artistic management team of the Stuttgart platform for interdisciplinary performance art SAAL FREI.
