Petra Stransky is a dancer and choreographer (master's degree at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden), music and dance teacher (studies at the Mozarteum University of Art Salzburg) and speech therapist. Dance, language and music in their relationship to each other and as a personal medium of expression inspire her artistic and art educational work.

Since 2003 she has realized interdisciplinary projects in Germany, Austria and Brazil. Her artistic home is dance and music theater and performance art. She develops the mostly interdisciplinary pieces for "classical" stage situations, as well as for all imaginable places - "site-specific". She teaches in the field of dance-speech-music. She is particularly interested in improvisation as a technique, means of composition and stage practice.
