This contemporary dance class is an invitation to explore movement through improvisation, developing a deeper awareness of the body. After a guided warm-up, we will investigate different movement qualities, rhythm, and dynamics, allowing ourselves to discover new possibilities of expression. We will then apply these elements in improvisation tasks designed to stimulate creativity, imagination, and personal expression.
To conclude, we will learn a short movement phrase, using it as an opportunity to integrate and embody the ideas, sensations, and movement qualities we have explored throughout the class.
