Nadine Gerspacher is a freelance dancer, choreographer, teacher and artistic director of her own company CIA NADINE GERSPACHER.

Nadine Gerspacher has been working internationally for the past 20 years, for instance alongside Dave St Pierre (Montréal, Canada) and Cirque du Soleil. She has been as well a guest choreographer in many companies and universities and has received in 2016 the Isadora Award from the Iwanson-Sixt Foundation in Munich for her exceptional achievements in contemporary dance.

The work of Cia Nadine Gerspacher is constantly funded since 2018 from different institutions.

“Gerspacher's dance theatre, inspired by everyday life, features eccentric characters, combining the poetic physicality with humor and vulnerability, in a surprising experience.“

Furthermore, she co-leads the 3 programs FREEBOIDES, FREEROOTS & FREEPULSE, which accompany young dancers: in over eight months and prepare them for their professional careers as well as she opened FREEZONE, a center for movement, creation and performance in Barcelona with Nicolas Ricchini in 2022. In addition, she is the co-founder of the NEXO Festival in Freiburg/ Germany together with Tina Halford.

From 29.04. - 03.05.2024 she offers an intensive week of professional contemporary dance training at the PZ.
