A TARTproduktion in co-production with the dance company SPECIES Köln in cooperation with FITZ Stuttgart and BLOMST! gUG.

The dance and puppet theatre performance ALONE explores the perceptual and mnemonic world of the ageing human being through dance and the means of puppet theatre.

With Mathilde, we take a glimpse into the everyday life of a woman who lives alone and has grown old. She spends her days immersed in cherished rituals and familiar routines. Yet time seems to repeatedly run out, stretch endlessly, or condense into fleeting moments of unexpected happiness. What was once ordinary becomes strenuous and adventurous. Reality and imagination begin to merge: a melody rises within her and carries her away, into dance, into the past, into the life she once had.
