Crip Choreography

Workshop mit Michael Turinsky beim Festival der KulturRegion Stuttgart JETZT!

Michael Turinsky defines Crip Choreography as a critical artistic practice that starts from the specific nature and lived experience of a body labelled as disabled - its spatial and temporal, affective and libidinal reality, which with Crip Choreography makes a leap to complex ideas related to politics and/or aesthetics. In his workshop, Turinsky will present both his conceptual and physical practice. Core themes are repetition and difference, slowness, vibration, regular and irregular oscillations, negativity and pleasure.

Admission is free.
