A dance theatre piece about loneliness in Udo Jürgens’ songs. O Solitude I

»I'm playing a song for everyone who's lonely,« someone sings in the midst of cheering fans. Someone who dreams of togetherness but experiences loneliness. Again and again, Udo Jürgens’ songs — even his most cheerful earworms — tell of an unfulfilled longing for love, of hopelessness and oppressive loneliness. We give this “I” a real body and tell its story through dance.
