The Produktionszentrum Tanz + Performance has been invited to engage choreographically and performatively with the space of HuMBASE, a former church. The program features two full-length productions—"Peninsula Flora" by Smadar Goshen and "A Cozy Place" (work in progress) by Johannes Blattner—as well as a public screening of films created during the Screen Dance Workshop as part of the SEEDS Academy.

Audiences are invited to experience the creative process up close. Through the audience engagement program of Stuttgart's independent dance and theatre scene, made possible by TANZPAKT Stuttgart, visitors can take part in open rehearsals, workshops, introductions, and post-show discussions, gaining insight into the choreographers' artistic processes.

Peninsula Flora

A dance work by choreographer Smadar Goshen exploring the gaps and similarities between humans and plants through modes of communication, evolving patterns, and mechanisms of defense and survival. The 50-minute performance creates a shared territory—an echo system—in which audience members and dancers coexist. Within this created landscape, everyone has a role to play; we are all part of the environment.

A Cozy Place (Work in Progress)

This experimental performance brings together object theatre and dance to explore the space between analogue and digital performance. The creative process is shaped both by current social realities and by the distinct artistic practices of the performers.

What moves us? How much are we controlled by external forces? What captures our attention more—our smartphones or the world around us? How do we connect with one another?

The audience is invited to explore the space alongside the performers and discover new perspectives together.

Participants should bring: a smartphone with a QR code scanner.
