Short pieces by artists from Baden-Württemberg working in theater, dance, and film combine in changing themes and constellations to create an evening of moving miniatures - seductive, surprising, and unpredictable.
A series of events by FITZ, Produktionszentrum Tanz + Performance, and Stuttgarter Filmwinter - Festival for Expanded Media.
Programme
»Nexus« // Mike Planz
Nexus is a labyrinth of thoughts and feelings, a place where I can be alone with myself. It is a world I have created myself, where I realize my dreams and face my fears.
Quirks, tics, and oddities are transformed into movement concepts. Impulsive presence meets existing form. Patterns of reality melt into the moving moment.
Choreography: Mike Planz
Dance: Sade Mamedova
»EXISTANZ« // Sawako Nunotani
A dancer is in a closed room. Contact with the outside world is cut off. Her image is projected onto a screen. The audience looks into a private space. Attention: The dancer here is real. Is she?
The piece is an example of today's society. Reality is variable and ambiguous. What we take for granted is fundamentally uncertain.
Defy the distance: feel and listen!
Concept, dance, choreography, stage design: Sawako Nunotani
