Nadine Gerspacher returns to us with the Spinning Poetry workshop, inviting participants to immerse themselves in her unique world of contemporary dance. The focus is on a space where movement, emotion and imagination come together.

Through physical exercises, theatrical scenarios and partner work, playful, trusting and authentic forms of expression develop. There is a particular focus on body awareness: breathing, articulation, muscle tension and grounding help to expand one’s own movement vocabulary.

Technical sequences, floorwork and improvisation encourage precise yet intuitive dancing. The classes combine strength and attention to detail, supporting the development of the individual’s artistic voice.

Nadine Gerspacher is an internationally renowned contemporary dancer, choreographer and artistic director of Cia Nadine Gerspacher. With over 20 years of international stage experience, she is known for her powerful, physical yet poetic and theatrical style.

She creates her own works and teaches at universities and professional dance training programmes worldwide.

In addition to her work as a choreographer, she runs Freezone – a centre for movement, creation and performance in Barcelona, where she supports young dancers on their path to a professional career through an eight-month intensive programme. She is also a co-founder of the NEXO association in Freiburg im Breisgau.
