Mechthild Hettich is a singer, performer, composer and Roy Hart voice teacher. She received her voice training and education as a voice teacher at the "Centre Artistique Roy Hart", France. In 2014 she was a voice coach at the Bremer Theater, and in 2018/19 she was a lecturer at the HDMK Stuttgart in the speech arts program. Her great love, the accordion, has accompanied her for over 30 years.

She has developed her own style of music from different genres, in which improvisation always plays a decisive role. Since 1998 she is regularly on stage with different ensembles. Since 2018 she has been a member of the duo MEBAB, the ensembles LAYERS OF VOICE and vocal:tribe in Stuttgart.
