Karina Pino Gallardo’s work focuses on artistic processes rooted in social science research. This gives rise to performances, plays and installations. Her long-term projects centre on women, migration and questions of identity and belonging. These have been presented at various venues and on different platforms, including Kultur Region Stuttgart, Akademie Schloss Solitude, Linden Museum, Theater Atelier (Stuttgart), Nau Ivanow Fábrica de Creación (Barcelona), Linha de Fuga (Portugal), Odeon Space (Bogotá) and Carrozzerie N.O.T (Rome).

She has taken part in various residencies, including Movimiento Sur (Chile), KRAKK Santarcangelo (Italy), Theatertreffen International Forum and Akademie Schloss Solitude.

In 2024, she founded the ‘Art Territories Collective’ and in 2025 the association ‘The Art Open Source e.V.’, both in Stuttgart.
