What can we leave behind for the next generation? This is the question posed by the project Prayers. The answer remains uncertain, yet we continue on a path of hope toward a future grounded in the experiences of the past.

The concept for Prayers emerged four years ago. Each participating artistic discipline conducted research from its own unique perspective. At the heart of this process was an exploration of the history of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

The focus is not solely on suffering, but on examining the process through which people from diverse backgrounds can discover a shared sense of hope. It is also a recognition that every individual experiences different forms of pain within their own circumstances.

In Prayers, all elements on stage merge into a single, unified experience.
