Alexander Joseph was born and raised in Frankfurt am Main and came into contact with alternative forms of theater while still at school. His most important stations were: the Theater am Turm Frankfurt, the Summertimefestival Frankfurt, the Künstlerhaus Mousonturm Frankfurt, the S.O.A.P Dancetheatre Frankfurt, the Royal School of Speech and Drama London, the Theaterhaus Frankfurt and his collaboration with Heiner Goebbels. During this time, he was able to get to know many varieties of the performing arts. From "cabaret" to performance, music theater, dance theater and large-scale productions. Alexander Joseph was able to gain additional experience through guest performances all over the world. Now trained as a lighting designer, he has never been interested only in lighting. He likes to think outside the box and is therefore also familiar with other areas of theater. The most important thing for him in theater work - apart from the content aspect - is the collaboration and the joy of discovery.
