With this 10-day series of workshops at the Produktionszentrum Tanz + Performance e.V. in Stuttgart, the project aims to provide young dance and performance artists with guidance to help them find their direction at the start of their careers. Through dance training and choreography sessions with internationally renowned dance professionals, coaching from experts within the Produktionszentrum Tanz + Performance, and a final performance at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart, students and graduates will exchange ideas with one another and with professionals from the fields of dance education and production.

The project’s main aim is to support the next generation of dance and performance artists in Stuttgart and the surrounding region. It also seeks to establish networks between dance institutions, professionals, young dance practitioners, students of the performing arts, trainees and graduates. The many state-approved dance training centres and higher education institutions in Stuttgart and the surrounding region are to become aware of one another through this project and, through this exchange, enrich their own development. The project aims to provide information on the financial and structural resources available for dance and performance in the region to future dance and performance artists, and to enable them to progress towards a professional career through networking.
