Alexandra Mahnke is a dancer, choreographer and performer. She completed her dance studies at the Folkwang University in Essen, followed by studies in German language and literature and philosophy at the University of Duisburg-Essen. She choreographs for opera and theater and develops her own productions. Her focus within the dance and theater scene in Germany is on contemporary and experimental dance, dance theater as well as cross media performances and improvisation. Her work focuses on inter- and transdisciplinary projects.
