Lisa Thomas is a dancer, performer, choreographer and lecturer. The focus of her artistic work lies in intergenerational, interdisciplinary projects, live improvised performances and a feminist research on the aesthetics of the aging body in dance. She initiated the platform for improvisational art SAAL FREI and the free ensemble Instant PIG//Stuttgart in 2018 and is active here as a dancer and performer and in the artistic direction team. She is founder and artistic director of the Altentanztheater Zartbitter at the Tanz-und Theaterwerkstatt Ludwigsburg and the festival VielFalten and co-founder of the initiative Tanzkunst und Alter at the Bundesverband Aktion Tanz.
